The latest Visual Studio Code update (August 2024) may not be groundbreaking, but it introduces some useful features. From sorting comments by time to sharing settings effortlessly with a simple link, VSCode 1.93 makes collaboration smoother.

The August 2024 version of Visual Studio Code editor just landed with some new features. I wouldn’t call this release ground-breaking, but there are some nice things anyways.

For example, you can sort comments by time. It means that if there’s a lot of things in the comments section, you can switch to time sorting, rather than file sorting:

That feature I love. You know how hard it is to explain how to find a setting in VSCode to your colleague? Not anymore! With this new feature you can copy the link to the setting field.
