As you know from my article, StackOverflow interest decline is not caused by the emerging AI tools.

But the fact is that AI hype opened a window of opportunity for everyone who didn’t catch the blockchain train.

In fact some of these tools are quite nice, for example CodiumAI that I use to assist me in writing unit tests.

The conversation bots are also interesting, because are capable of writing some elements of functional code with better or worse results.

Trained on vast amounts of data including StackOverflow, these tools may be easier to use than the coding support synonym.

In the second half of April StackOverflow told it will charge AI companies for training their hamsters on their datasets.

Today however, we’ve received an information that is a game changer. StackOverflow announced they bought shiny shoes and is ready to join the AI party.
