The new minor release makes users life easier with some quite nice improvements
Prestashop is a popular, open source choice, for self-hosted e-commerce sites. A new minor release has just been announced, on Sept 28, 2023.
Some interesting improvements in this version:
No More Out-Of-Stock Purchases
Now, more protections are added that people don’t buy stuff that is out of order, that is the stock is depleted for these.
Reminding On Updating Friendly URL
When copying a product, you have to remember to change the friendly URL at least. Otherwise, your project will index on the wrong URL, that’s just bad. But since we’re human, and have a very bad recollection, now there’s a nice popup after duplicating a product to remind us about it.
