At the end of October I have covered what’s new in Ionic 6. It’s only two and a half month later when I came back to see if Ionic has anything new to offer. It occurred that there is. Actually, in that period of time, the Ionic team released tens of updates, with Ionic 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 and 6.4.1 as the most important versions.

So today I will cover the most important changes in these releases. Each release has so many improvements it would be hard to cover everything. In case you’d like to do it, I have linked the release announcements at the end of the article.

If you are not familiar with Ionic, it is a JavaScript based framework for building cross-platform apps. It supports web apps, and also old-school native apps handling iOS and Android systems.
