How I got two views per video in a month
I am posting Javascript tech interview answers for a month now. One answer per day.
To multiple services: YouTube, Tiktok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. What are the results?
So far the most popular video with 1400 views on YouTube is this one:

It is a conclusive answer to a question if you have to know math to become a programmer.
In total on YouTube my reels got about 7k views so far. On average I get anything between fifty and two hundred views.
On Twitter my videos got so far almost 2k views. It is almost the worst number.
On Facebook usually 2-3 people watch my videos. With an exception of one video I have shared to a group and that one got 0,6k views.
On LinkedIn I got about 1,5k views.
Instagram is currently my greatest place. At least if it comes to statistics with 20k views. However I don’t believe in these, because they seem pumped. Every fourth video or some gets more views without any particular reason. Usually I get around 30 views, so a grand total of 0,9 views is more realistic.
The service where videos fail miserably is Tiktok. With average of two views per video it sums up to 0,06k views. Even less if I count one view made my myself.
Interestingly, when looking on subscribers as a more true marker of reaching the right audience, YouTube and LinkedIn win leaving Instagram far behind.
If I’d have to decide after one month if to continue the project, I’d say yes. Statistics and results are definitely against me pursuing it.
