Four Best Features In WordPress 6.1

The new release of stable WordPress 6.1 is just around the corner. It will be published on first of November 2022.

Matt’s Mullenweg’s team was working on this version since May 2022, and finally we will be able to use some great improvements to the WordPress experience.

Twenty Twenty Tree Theme

It is the first theme that uses to the fullest the theme.json file introduced in somewhere around version 5.8. Contrary to previous themes, it means it will come with ten variations submitted by the community.

The new way of working with themes would not be possible without Kjell Reigstad, who introduced the theme and a way that made it possible to create variants. I think he, and the team made a great work. Look for yourself:

Easier Template Creation

With WordPress 6.1 it will be much easier to customize parts of the website. Now, you will be able to create templates for specific post types, or categories. Moreover, you won’t have to write the template from scratch.
