Python may not be the first language that comes to mind for game development, but itā€™s definitely possible!

Python is quite popular in data science, and wellā€¦ everywhere else. But thereā€™s one place where Python isnā€™t the first thing youā€™d think of. And by that I mean programming video games. Youā€™d use rather C++, C# or Java to write games among other programming languages.

In this article I want to share my findings from the research of this topic. As it occurs, you can. Actually there are resources to help you with that. For example PyGame.

Itā€™s a wrapper for SDL library to provide cross-platform access to hardware, making developing games easier. Hereā€™s an interesting tutorial how you can actually start off by downloading an example and working your way up.
