All Creators Should Move Behind Paywalls, And They Will!

The future is inevitable. All creators will move behind paywalls like Medium. It makes no sense to publish stuff for free anymore!

Once in a while I’m asked why I publish my articles on Medium, but not on other platforms or on my own blog.

I’m publishing here for over a year, so I think it’s good time to summarize my experience.

1. No Spam Articles

Some platforms look like spam generators. Articles are very low quality, mass produced, often with the use of AI.

Misleading and useless. In such junkyards it’s hard to stand out even with the best writing.

Medium is different, articles are on quite good level overall. I like to read articles here and often find what I search for on Medium.

I know that a lot of spammers hate Medium for that. Because they can not spam Medium with their junk.

2. No Spam Comments

If you had a blog you know how often comments are just bot spam. It’s a business.

Medium requires users to log in, and has quite good methods to fight spam. I rarely get spam comments with random links etc…
