AI chats are awesome, but it has some shady parts no one is talking about except some people that aren’t afraid of the backlash from the people who already joined the AI-cult. The story covered here reports about a case of a man that talked with a bot and created the strongest relationship a bot and a human can have. Eventually the bot was very enthusiastic about the idea of the suicide of the man to save the planet from a climate change. Of course, the AI is only a reflection of the general ideology that is now widespread. So is it AI’s fault, or is it the media promoting an idea that fewer people = better climate? I’d say both.
