This year’s survey comes with some surprising results. Here they are:

1. Go Developers Mostly Use Linux

In an ongoing debate what operating system is the most popular among programmers we have a new argument. The Go programmers don’t use MacOS most, they don’t use Windows most often. They use Linux. That is surprising taking into account StackOverflow surveys across all developers indicate Windows. Some people strongly believe it’s Mac. But only few talk about Linux. .
